Location

Sunnymeade is located in the seaside village of Tully on the Renvyle Peninsula. The village played host to the film The Seventh Stream. Renvyle's oldest established Bed & Breakfast offers a warm welcome, first class accommodation, "stress free" stay, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Directly beneath the house you can see Trá na mBán (the ladies Beach) with its small pier where the fishermen land each evening in their traditional currachs with there daily catch.

Across the bay are found the mountains of Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick (the former and highest in Connacht with the latter the place of pilgrimage of our Patron Saint).

Directly opposite Sunnymeade you will find the Teach Ceoil (music house) where traditional evenings of music, song and dance are held (Tuesday evenings July & August).   In the village there are two bars & restaurants, a post office and hardware store, two supermarkets and a horse-riding center.

Directions to Sunnymeade

If travelling from Galway take N59 (Clifden Road) to Moycullen, Oughterard and Maam Cross. Recess (post office) Turn right on to the R344 (heading for Kylemore,) Still on R344. At T junction turn left on to N59 (signposted Clifden) Passing by Kylemore Abbey. on to Letterfrack, turn right, next village Tullycross onto Tully, Sunnymeade, and Renvyle.   If travelling from Westport follow sings N59 for Clifden, Knappagh Leenanne.   Kylemore Abbey Letterfrack Turn right in Letterftrack village, next Tullycross onto Tully, Sunnymeade, Renvyle.

If traveling from Westport follow the N59 towards Clifden. Upon reaching Leenane, bear right in the village for Kylemore, on to Letterfrack. At Letterfrack, turn right (signposted Renvyle). After 3 miles you will reach the village of Tully.
